Sculpture was never my strongest medium when I was in art school and I still don't undertand it all fully. But, after taking an Installation course at my university, it changed my perspective on 3-D art, working with all of the extensive materials I had been introduced to and never even thought of working with. This project came from my journey with exploring my gender and expressing myself through my art, refelcting on how I am able to use my art as a platform for trans and queer artists who don't have a voice.
