About the Artist!

Printmaker
Queer Activist

Painter
Hello y'all!
My name is Emma Ethington (she/they), I am a gallery artist who specializes in 2-D art and focuses on mediums such as painting, drawing, and printmaking. I use themes of my community, queer activism, and the meaning of home in the pieces I create.

Born and raised in Santa Rosa, California, I was surrounded by beauty beyond my comprehension and inspired by my parents who gave me unlimited outlets to be creative.
Growing up in a community-based town, I got to experience human-kindness, firsthand, experiencing how it felt to be supported and loved no matter where I put forth my creative ideas.
As a queer artist, I want to advocate for those who do not have a voice in the LGBTQ+ community and are not able to speak out for the terrible acts happening around the world.
My goal is to curate a gallery space that is filled with art from other queer activists, young-adult artists, and those who want to share their creations with their small towns and even the whole world.
